PHEP Connects Webinar - Hurricane Preparedness in Mississippi

This webinar will focus on Mississippi’s ever-evolving all-hazards preparedness efforts with a focus on hurricane readiness. Christy Berry, director of the Mississippi health department’s Office of Emergency Planning and Response, will share information, updates, and lessons learned from previous responses. Topics will include medical needs sheltering, emergency operations center coordination, and preparedness. Elizabeth Grey, chief of media relations with the health department’s Office of Communications, will provide best practices related to emergency preparedness and response and risk communications.
